Welcome to Bryce Resort Getaway in Basye, Virginia! Our modern and comfortable home is perfectly situated in the heart of the resort neighborhood, just a stone's throw from all the amenities, activities, and restaurants. Whether you're here for skiing, tubing, hiking, mountain biking, or golf, this is the perfect place to stay. Key features of our home include keyless entry for convenience, a hot tub with string lighting for relaxation, and a fire pit for cozy evenings. Stay connected with hi-speed Wi-Fi, enjoy board games and entertainment on the SMART TV. Up to 2 house trained pets are welcomed for an additional $50 fee. The home features a quiet, peaceful atmosphere with a maximum occupancy of 8 people. It includes 3 bedrooms (BR 1: King, BR 2: Queen, BR 3: 2 Twin) and 1 sofa bed in the sunroom. There are 2 bathrooms - 1 with a stand-up shower and 1 with a tub/shower combo. Outside, you'll find an outdoor fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The fully stocked kitchen with pantry is perfect for cooking for the whole group. The interior and exterior finishes are professionally designed, and the home is dog-friendly (additional fee applies for well-behaved dogs only). Why Travel to Basye, VA? *Bryce Resort offers skiing, tubing, ice skating, hiking, Lake Laura (paddleboats, kayaks, canoes), mountain biking, and golf. *Nearby wineries include Cave Ridge Vineyard, The Winery at Kindred Point, Wolf Gap Vineyard, and Muse. *Breweries nearby include Swover Creek Brewery, Ridge Runner Farms, and Woodstock Brew House. *Shenandoah National Park is less than an hour away for hiking, biking, fishing, or enjoying Skyline Drive. *Shenandoah Caverns is a short 20-minute drive, and Luray Caverns is about 45 minutes away. *Woodstock offers Woodstock Cafe, Muse Vineyards, Woodstock Brew House, and local shopping. *Hiking at Big Schloss is just 30 minutes away. *Within 5 minutes of the house, you'll find Smiley's Ice Cream, mini-golf, The Copper Kettle Restaurant, and a local country store. Please note, this home is located on a mountain, and while all roads are paved, it can be difficult to navigate during the winter months. We highly recommend a 4-wheel-drive vehicle in the winter. Additionally, we recommend insuring your trip in the winter months due to harsh weather conditions. Parking can accommodate 2 vehicles, and 3 is possible but snug. If you have more than 3 vehicles, we recommend carpooling. Pets are welcome for an additional $50 fee per booking, with a maximum of 2 pets per reservation.

There is an resort nearby where you can purchase a day pass to use their gym, swimming pool and hot tub etc. Before making your booking, we kindly ask that you take a moment to review the contents of this message. As a city dweller myself, I understand how unsettling it can be to encounter insects like ants, spiders etc in the house. We are dedicated to minimizing our impact on the environment in the national park and utilizing the most minimal amount of chemicals necessary to control pests without harming other insects. Our primary objective is to provide our guests with a comfortable stay while upholding a harmonious balance with the natural surroundings. The pest control professional will do service once every 3 months.
